I’m still in disbelief…
"The brightest light has gone out."
The sad truth is that I never quite know what to say when such idols pass away.
I’m in the awkward stage of, well, I’m heartbroken because someone who has such a dynamic, inspiring and pure genius acting ability is gone.. but, I’m happy because I am able to say that I have had an idol in Robin my entire life.
When I was a tot, he was the coolest blue genie I knew and he definitely had me convinced that I could be young forever if I so wished.
In my teenage years he had me nearly convinced Teddy Roosevelt was reincarnated, but he also had me terrified questioning if someone actually could collect children to sell their music abilities on street corners.
As an adult, he’s broken my heart by aging backwards, traveling across country to rekindle past loves and made me bawl by simply being lonely and needing to feel wanted..
& I’d be lying if I said I’m not entertaining the thought that he is now in Heaven making my grandparents laugh.
In conclusion, Robin Williams will forever and always live on.
"You’re only given a little spark of madness.
You mustn’t lose it.”
- Robin Williams
*Note - NGE figure wasn’t from prop department but from Robin William’s own collection.
